Baxter Hill Community Hall
GENERAL RESERVATION & USE  INFORMATION:

It is our desire that the property and facility that God has entrusted to us be used to serve our neighbors and our community.  We want this property and facility to experience maximum use for the greatest community service.

1.   Reservation:

At the time a reservation is made a  $150 reservation deposit is due.  $100 of the reservation deposit turns into a Security/Damage deposit which is refunded after the event and Closing Responsibilities have been concluded.  The remaining $50 is a applied as a non-refundable Cleaning Fee.
2.  Refunds/Forfeiture of Fees:
Your building use fee will be refunded if you cancel the event at least two business days prior to the event.
3.  Liability:
User assumes liability for (a) any injuries to persons using BHCH premises resulting from a non-church sponsored activity; and (b) any damage to BHCH or other church property, equipment or furniture arising from the activity.

Adult (age 25 or over) supervision is required for all events.  One adult for each 10 children/young persons is required.

Please report any damage immediately to the church office.  Any damage to the building and its contents is the responsibility of the group or individual using the facility.  The facility will be inspected by church personnel prior to and following each use.


4.  Insurance:

Facility users must provide liability insurance via a certificate of insurance providing not less than $500,000 per occurrence for personal injury and property damage and naming Our Savior’s Lutheran Church as an additional insured.  The certificate of insurance must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled start time of the event.  This certificate is available through an insurance agent as an attachment, or rider, to your home-owners policy, and costs little to nothing for a one-time event. 


5.  Clean up:

Users are expected to pick up and deposit all garbage in appropriate receptacles.  Wipe down all tables and counters with the sanitizing solution found under the sink in the kitchen.
6.  Prohibitions:
 * All buildings are smoke free.  Use of tobacco products of any type in any of the interior spaces is prohibited.  Smoking must take place at least 10 feet from any door or window, in the designated smoking area only.
 * Alcohol and its use are not permitted on the premises
 * Use of glitter is prohibited.
 * User will not drive nails, tacks or screws into any part of the building.
 * Please note that the Pre-school playground is not included with the Community Hall and is off limits for use.
7.  Emergency Situations: 
In the unlikely event of an unforeseen circumstance or emergency situation forcing a change in scheduling, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church reserves the right to cancel any scheduled or reserved facility. If the reservation is canceled by the Church, the user may choose a full refund or request to be rescheduled.

Faith House when combined with the use of the Community Hall No charge $50 – 4 hours
